Our product development organization is growing, and we’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to work with our amazing teams, with a focus on consistent execution. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy influencing, communicating, organizing, and project-managing various product development initiatives. You’ll have a big impact on Nymi’s success as you help multifunctional teams deliver value to our customers more efficiently and play a critical role in Nymi’s present success and future growth. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and constantly improve a scalable product development and release process based on well-known frameworks
  • Create and maintain release plans based on Product priorities and availability of resources
  • Drive release cycle activities as well as sprint level activities across multiple scrum teams.
  • Coach the teams on the process defined and ensure compliance
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and solve inter-team challenges across engineering, product management, quality assurance and DevOps
  • Manage and proactively communicate project risks, issues and collaborate with teams to plan for mitigations
  • Closely track the progress of all the releases/product iterations and proactively handle any schedule or scope challenges
  • Regularly provide insights based on close monitoring of product development activities
  • Facilitate the process of continuous improvement through effective sprint/release retrospectives
  • Work with product management, engineering and relevant stakeholders to help prioritize current goals
  • Manage trade-offs and help balance current goals with unplanned priorities
  • Leverage data/metrics/facts to enable effective planning and decision making


What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of Technical Program/Project Manager experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software or multidisciplinary products successfully with data, KPIs and metrics
  • Experience delivering projects in a product development environment working closely with product management, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Technical background and ability effectively engage with strong Product, Engineering, QA and DevOps teams
  • Delivering projects across multiple teams using Agile methodology 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with experience presenting to leadership teams and at company meetings.
  • Strong influential skills: experience building consensus across multiple functional areas

 

This position can be remote, but requires occasional visits to Nymi’s Toronto office
